Cattle Purchasing

Huffman Brothers began purchasing local cattle from producers in the 1950’s. Today, as Huffman Livestock, we operate a local buying station every Saturday morning. We accept all types of cattle - from calves, yearlings, slaughter/rail cattle and bulls. Cattle are brought to our shipping facility in Lexington, Virginia, where they are unloaded, sorted, and weighed. Pricing is determined on the spot utilizing the current market and cattle type and kind.
